Annual Fund for Feeding Tomorrow

We are a foundation on a mission to raise awareness of careers in the science of food, and share solutions to help ensure a healthier tomorrow. Feeding Tomorrow aims to ensure the vital work of food scientists continues and carries over to the next generations. We award and educate. We research, we innovate and then we share. Donate today to help us deliver our mission tomorrow.

Our promises:

TO MOTIVATE: We promise to encourage the best young minds to pursue careers in the science of food. The world needs the brightest minds engaged in the science of food in order to meet the challenges ahead of us to feed a projected population of 9 billion in 2050.

TO SUPPORT: We promise to encourage, promote and reward excellence of students pursuing careers in the science of food. Our scholarship program is one of the largest in the nation rewarding undergraduate and graduate students for their dedication to their future profession.

TO LEVERAGE: We promise to bring together the collective knowledge of our community to pursue food and nutrition solutions for those in need. Knowledge is power. And with an IFT community of over 17,000 strong, the Foundation will contribute knowledge toward food and nutrition solutions, in particular for those at the bottom of the economic pyramid.

Quality Assurance Division Scholarship

Support travel scholarships for the IFT Quality Assurance Division (QAD)!   Our mission is to share expertise and ideas relating to quality assurance, quality control and food wholesomeness with colleagues from around the world. In support of this mission, the QAD has sponsored travel scholarships to deserving students to attend the IFT annual event for over 15 years.  Your contributions, no matter how large or small, will help support the best and brightest minds in food science to attend the IFT annual meetings for years to come.

The Quality Assurance Division travel scholarship we provide has inspired students to action and involvement in the food industry, in quality management and in IFT. Past awardees have become active members of the IFT QAD leadership team.  Although the scholarship provides a valuable experience for the recipients, we only have funding for one more scholarship.

This is where you can help ensure that future leaders of the food industry and the Quality Assurance Division have the opportunity to participate in these invaluable experiences. The QAD leadership feels this is a worthwhile investment and are asking for your help. Please consider contributing to the QAD travel scholarship fund.

Our goal is to raise at least $20,000, which would allow us to not only continue the scholarship program, but to also provide more than a single $1,000 scholarship each year. Individual and corporate sponsorship levels are  listed below. Your contributions, no matter how large or small, will help support the best and brightest minds in food science to attend the IFT annual meetings for years to come.
