Support travel scholarships for the IFT Quality Assurance Division (QAD)! Our mission is to share expertise and ideas relating to quality assurance, quality control and food wholesomeness with colleagues from around the world. In support of this mission, the QAD has sponsored travel scholarships to deserving students to attend the IFT annual event for over 15 years. Your contributions, no matter how large or small, will help support the best and brightest minds in food science to attend the IFT annual meetings for years to come.
The Quality Assurance Division travel scholarship we provide has inspired students to action and involvement in the food industry, in quality management and in IFT. Past awardees have become active members of the IFT QAD leadership team. Although the scholarship provides a valuable experience for the recipients, we only have funding for one more scholarship.
This is where you can help ensure that future leaders of the food industry and the Quality Assurance Division have the opportunity to participate in these invaluable experiences. Our goal is to raise at least $20,000, which would allow us to not only continue the scholarship program, but to also provide more than a single $1,000 scholarship each year.
