Speaker:
Daniel D. Song is the Senior Product Manager for Univar Food Ingredients, a leading ingredient provider in North America and part of Univar USA.  He has been in the food ingredients business for more than 25 years and is passionate about all things food.  Daniel has been at Univar for four years.  Prior to Univar, he spent over16 years at Morton Salt in various roles. From working at a major brewery to put himself through college, to sales and marketing of flavors, fruit concentrates and salt to food companies, he has gained knowledge of the food industry from multiple angles. At Univar, Daniel is engaged with establishing and maintaining strong supplier relationships, category management and identifying ways to improve the customer experience with the ingredients Univar distributes. He truly acts as a trusted advisor in sourcing ingredients for today's ever-evolving demands.

Daniel earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from University of Colorado, and an MBA from University of California, Irvine.  He is married, has two teenage children, and lives in the Chicago suburbs.  Having grown up in Colorado, he naturally gravitates toward biking, skiing, and outdoor activities.  He considers himself to be multi-cultural, and loves food from around the world.  Kosher bulgogi tacos, anyone?
