Speaker: Bryan Stobaugh, Missouri Soybean Association and Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council Director of licensing and commercialization, works to find a home for the outcomes of research funded by the checkoff, allowing them to come back to Missouri farms to increase farmers’ bottom lines. With the diversity of soy, Bryan works with growers, developers, investors, and industry to ensure researched products are commercialized to benefit the bottom-line of the soybean farmers.
After growing up on a 6,000-acre row crop farm with rice, corn and soybeans, Bryan attended Arkansas Tech University where he received his Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry. He went on to receive his Master of Science at the University of Arkansas studying soybean breeding and genetics. Prior to Missouri Soybeans, Bryan worked in several roles including consulting, adjunct genetics professor and regulatory scientist, which led to his passion of bringing genetics and soybean demand research to commercialization.
