A technically astute commercial leader, Vivien has a proven track record implementing new horizon sustainable innovative technologies. With over 18 years’ experience working for Kerry, Vivien spent the majority of her career leading the Research & Development function. She has made a distinguished contribution in the field of Food Waste mitigation, Health and Wellness enhancement & Plant Protein technology.

Accomplished in building and maintaining partnerships with customers, academics and industry associations, Vivien has implemented strategic technical platforms encompassing both incremental and radical innovation.

Vivien is a graduate of University of College Cork, Ireland with a bachelor’s degree in Food Science, and a subsequent Doctorate in Microbiology.

She has three children, Elena (11), Rebecca (8) and Matthew (6) and enjoys spending time at gymnastics meets, in the swimming pool and going to Ireland to visit her extended family.

An expert in food additives and ingredients, Renee leads Concierge Service, helping teams across the globe find solutions to everyday product development challenges. At IFT, Renee meets with R&D teams and provides ready-to-access research and resources allowing them to overcome hurdles like shelf life, reformulation, food quality and safety, and regulatory compliance.
