The amount of sugar in our food and beverage products is an ever-growing topic of conversation.  The FDA has proposed that food labels clearly show the amount of added sugars.  Terms such as “sugar tax” and “soda tax” have now become a reality in many jurisdictions. With sugar reduction continuing to be a leading trend, along with new government regulations, consumers are opting for reduced sugar products – but refuse to give up the wonderful sweet taste in their food, desserts and beverages.
