Duration: Two 3-hour block (or customizable per request)

Course Details: This workshop is intended to assist food science departments with education on assessment, with the planning and implementation of assessment, and with ongoing monthly support with assessment troubleshooting. The course instructor will work with the department chair and faculty to design a customized assessment plan for short and long-term assessment goals specific to that department. Basic assessment theory, practices, and implementation will be discussed during the workshop, and an assessment matrix customized to the department will be developed. Departments can request a la carte training time for add-on topics such as test construction, rubrics, outcome design, data collection & analysis (other assessment-related topics can be arranged per request).
