CFS Prep Course – Important Update on CFS Exam Sunsetting
The CFS Prep Course is an optional online program designed for individuals preparing to take the Certified Food Scientist (CFS) Exam and earn the CFS credential. This course provides access to:
- Video presentations led by expert instructors
- A series of practice tests
- A note-taking tool
Important Note: Purchasing or completing this course does
not affect eligibility to take the CFS Exam. Those interested in taking the exam should email

CFS Exam Sunset Notice
The
CFS Exam will be sunset and will no longer be offered after December 15, 2026. If you plan to earn the CFS credential, we strongly encourage you to complete your preparation and complete your exam before the sunset date. Additional details regarding the program sunseet can be found in this
