Matt Teegarden, PhD, is a food scientist and chemist with expertise at the intersection of food and health. He is a passionate science communicator and has presented his research to various audiences around the world. Matt previously led research strategy and development for the Foods for Health Research Initiative at The Ohio State University and recently joined Abbott Nutrition as a regulatory affairs manager. An active member of the Institute of Food Technologists, Matt has served as a board member, student association president, task force chair, section leader, and podcast host.

Susanne Gjedsted Bügel, PhD
Professor and Head of Section, Nutrition and Health, Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports University of Copenhagen

Susanne Gjedsted Bügel, PhD, is professor and head of section, Nutrition and Health in the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports at the University of Copenhagen. A nutrition scientist whose research interests include vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients, Susanne is currently leading a new two-year international scientific consensus-building initiative aimed at refining the Nova classification system, especially regarding Category 4, ultraprocessed foods.
