Innovations in Dairy Farms: Robotic Technologies:

Richard Franta is a capital sales specialist with DeLaval, where he specializes in automated technologies. He grew up in western Wisconsin on a dairy farm and has been involved in the industry his entire life. 

Academia Dairy Research:

Dr. Kumar Mallikarjunan is a professor of food engineering in the department of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota. His research interests include novel processing technologies (high pressure, pulsed electric field, cold plasma and microwave assisted extraction) and non-destructive sensing (electronic nose, and FTIR/NIR) of food quality and safety. He has extensively published in peer refereed journals and has more than 90 publications and 200 presentations in national and international conferences.
