Meeting Details :

Hyperspectral imaging (HSI) has been used extensively in food safety control. It is currently used in the food processing industry to find foreign objects such as wood, plastics, bones, etc. In addition, food qualities like water content, meat tenderness, and mold spots may also be checked with HSI. There are numerous other cases where HSI is used to detect packaging leaks, observe bacteria growth, and monitoring the health of the plants. Universities and corporations use hyperspectral cameras to perform research such as identifying the ripeness/freshness of apples or seafood. The camera is also fast enough to be integrated into a production line for automated real-time quality control. There are even more uses to yet be discovered. Watch this webinar on-demand to learn more about HSI and how you can use it today!
